Performance Plus Table Pads
Our Performance Plus table pads have three pressure reducing layers with an Akton® polymer surface.
Pressure Redistribution
- 3/8” head-to-toe layer of AKTON viscoelastic polymer surface provides immersion benefits by distributing weight
- Soft viscofoam mid-layer enhances patient envelopment and comfort
- High density foam base provides stability
Temperature Management
- AKTON polymer distributes heat to reduce “hot spots” that are catalysts for pressure injuries and can help reduce heat-related moisture build-up
Shear Management
- Exposed continuous layer of our proprietary AKTON polymer surface provides excellent shear benefits and will not support bacterial growth
- The soft, tissue equivalent polymer surface moves easily with the patient, reducing friction and shear forces
AKTON Polymer Patient Surface
Unique to the industry, this soft, flexible patient surface moves with the patient; helping to reduce shear forces that damage fragile skin. AKTON polymer does not support bacterial growth and is phthalate free.
Fluid Resistant Construction
- Fully welded seams
- Midline seams avoid pooling fluids
- Microbe/ bacteria resistant fabric
- Stitch-free hook and loop attachment
