Action® Adaptive Pebble Pads have multifunctional applications for traditional and non-traditional seating challenges. Unique textured surface increases surface area contact with user and helps reduce shear forces and promote comfort. Pads can be cut and used for spot protection on products such as arm pads, foot plates, head/leg rests or splint/braces. Full sized adaptive Pebble Pads may also be placed atop custom-made bases to enhance pressure and shear management benefits of the product. Adaptive Pads are available in 1/4″, 1/2″ and 1″ thicknesses and are not sold with a cover. The Basic Cover is available for purchase separately, for the ½” and 1” cushion only.
This Basic Cover fits Action® Adaptive Flat Pad in 1/2″ and 5/8″ thickness and Adaptive Pebble pads in 1/2″ and 1″ thickness. The Basic Cover is constructed of a durable, double-knit black ponte fabric combined with a DEHP/ Phthalate free, PVC-coated polyester non-slip bottom with 1″ durable nylon web handle. The Basic Cover features a wide opening with a 1″ ring pull zipper for easy removal and replacement of the Action® Wheelchair Cushion. It is CAL133 approved, machine washable and tumble dry. No cover is available for the Adaptive Flat and the Adaptive Pebble in a 1/4″ thickness.
