Action® brand medical products and our proprietary Akton® polymer are manufactured exclusively in the United States at our production facility located in Maryland. Founded in 1969 Action Products has prided itself on keeping all its manufacturing within the United States.

The majority of our Action® brand products are derived from an ultra-soft, rubber-like material, called Akton^® polymer. Action Products’ proprietary Akton® viscoelastic polymer is known for its unique pressure-relieving, shear reducing and shock absorbing abilities. AKTON was formulated by founder Dr. W.R. McElroy specifically for the prevention of pressure injuries.
