The Comfort & Skin Protection wheelchair cushions offer a wide range of usability from Adaptive Pads, with multi-functional application, to the Centurian™ wheelchair cushion that offers pressure and shear reduction for low-to-moderate risk users.

AKTON Polymer
The ultra-soft polymer combined with the soft, flexible surface of our pads allows the product to move with the patient, reducing negative effects of shear on fragile skin. In addition, the Akton® polymer distributes weight and dissipates heat; lowering the risk of high-pressure points and hot spot development that can lead to pressure injuries. These benefits combined enhance pressure injury protection.
Impervious to Fluids
AKTON polymer is impervious to fluids and will not support bacterial growth. It does not leak or flow if punctured.
