Description

Our Performance Plus Series table pads have three pressure reducing layers with an Akton® polymer surface.

Pressure Redistribution

  • 3/8” layer of AKTON viscoelastic polymer surface provides immersion benefits by distributing weight
  • Soft viscofoam mid-layer enhances patient envelopment and comfort
  • ·High density foam base provides stability

Temperature Management

  • AKTON polymer distributes heat to reduce “hot spots” that are catalysts for pressure injuries and can help reduce heat-related moisture build-up

Shear Management

  • Exposed continuous layer of our proprietary AKTON polymer surface provides excellent shear benefits and will not support bacterial growth
  • The soft, tissue equivalent polymer surface moves easily with the patient, reducing friction and shear forces
