The Action^® O.R. Overlay is a versatile pad used for a wide range of procedures. It is especially important for use in procedures lasting more then one hour or for patients with circulatory problems. Small size is often used on leg extension for OB/GYN procedures and for rectoscopy support for proctology procedures. The medium size is ideal for open heart cases and other procedures that mandate lengthy supine patient positions as well as pediatric procedures. The full-length pad provides even-weight distribution of the patient for open heart surgery and other thoracic and abdominal procedures. Because the Action^® pad provides a high level of comfort to patients under local anesthesia such as in cataract procedures, patient movement is minimized. Cases that call for lateral or prone positioning should also include this pad.
